Why the studio takes only one kind of client
Most translation is commissioned as a document. A product is not a document. Its words are spread across a printed panel, an inbox and a help center, and a customer reads all three within days of opening the box. If the Spanish on the carton calls a part one thing and the help center calls it another, the customer notices.
Bobbin & Thread was set up in Brooklyn to treat those surfaces as one body of text. The studio fixes the vocabulary first, drafts against it, has a second native speaker read it in context, and returns files in the formats your designers and support team already use.
The work covers English into Spanish, Portuguese and French. Three languages is a deliberate limit: each is read by native speakers who work in it every day, rather than stretched across a longer list.
